Research
RIGT believes that the prevention of problem gambling and the treatment of those affected by it should be informed by sound research and reliable evidence.
Over the next five years we intend to develop an extensive evidence base on problem gambling in Britain, set within an international context. We will commission and collect research on a range of treatment and treatment access options, on prevention, and on host responsibility. In addition, we aim to have significantly developed the capacity for research on problem gambling in Britain
Our research is managed by an independent panel of experts in problem gambling research and leading research staff from regulatory bodies. We conduct our work independently of the gambling industry.
